I've been pondering a new attribute. Well, more of a modifier for defense and speed. I thought I'd give those a little help. However, this is based on the idea that defense is the maximum amount of damage a maginate can block and blocking involves paying 1 energy per 1 battle damage. This attribute modifier is weight, and I've come up with three types: regular weight, lightweight (LW), and heavyweight (LW).
Regular weight...is a regular maginate. Really, it is. No changes to defense and speed--that's what regular is. Lightweight is +1 speed and - 1 defense. Heavyweight is +1 defense and -1 speed. Applying weight would be the last step in creating maginate stats. Weight would be noted on the right side of the level star symbol in the left side of the card.
So...is this too light or too heavy? You make the call.
