Long, long ago, someone did something they very definitely shouldn't have, and nearly destroyed the world. The result is a sprawling land divided by an impassable mountain range, plagued by deadly weather, crawling with all manner of dangerous creatures, and haunted by the ghosts of its past.
The people are, by and large, equal to the task of survival, and those fortunate enough to live on the islands floating above have made amazing advances in technology which make life easier for those who can afford them. The truly daring can purchase or befriend a dragon and thereby secure their own free passage to the world above, and the well-to-do rely on airship travel for adventure and trade. Of course, where there are ships, there are those who prey on them... Antos in particular has a thriving pirate population.

- Same as for the forum in general - be polite, and keep it clean. Fade to black if things get spicy, and no snuffing without consent.
- This is a freeform roleplay, but combat should still be turn-based. Give your opponent time to react.
- The general population of Antos are known for having pointed ears, but are otherwise just human overall. People from the Skylands are likely to have hair colors outside the norm.
- Personal airships exist, but can be fairly rare and are usually owned by people who have enough money ot mechanical know-how to build/buy and maintain one.
- Dragons as pets are rarer than airships, as the eggs are expensive and taming an adult is difficult at best.
- A nomadic lifestyle might be preferable to being settled; in fact, there are several well-known families who run trade caravans for a living.
