Here are three maginates I based off my birthday, or rather, the zodiac signs associated with it. Shocker Sheep is based off my Chinese zodiac animal, the sheep. Terror Triton is based on my tropical zodiac sign, Pisces. Blast Bearer is based off my sidereal zodiac sign, Aquarius. These cards use the traits and moves currently in my game manual, and I'm trying out another way of writing out the move modifiers.

Flip a coin four times. When this move inflicts battle damage, lock the opposing maginate for each heads result (select a move for each heads result. Your opponent cannot use the selected move(s) during his or her next turn).
Lightning Crusher (8 e, +0 A, +0 S):
Flip a coin until you get a heads result. This maginate gets 3 attack per heads result until the end of your current turn.
