Tsutomu & Foxfire
______________________________
Deus Name: Tsutomu Sasaki
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Height: 5’4”
Appearance: REFERENCE
Tsutomu has somewhat messy brown-black hair and dark eyes. Even when not in his school uniform he tends to stick to slacks or bluejeans and button-down or polo shirts. Thanks to his dress habits and overall personality he comes across as older than he really is, though he doesn’t capitalize on it. His skin tone is slightly darker than usual, and in summer he tans well.
Bio: Tsutomu is the student who got Sela into Angelic Layer in the first place, by way of their shared interest in model kits. Tsutomu, however, has a higher-level passion for building and customizing. He also likes to test and push his creative and technical limits and abilities, and extends this to his participation in Angelic Layer with the extensive customization of his Angel. If he were to expand his interests into small-electronics or even robotics – as his parents and teachers keep pushing him to do – he’d have a lucrative career waiting for him after school, without a doubt. He’s not sure yet what he wants to do but is leaning in more technical directions, though he personally prefers concept design. He’s actually rather good at technical drawing and drafting, and enjoys designing Angels.
Aside from his talents and hobbies, he’s a fairly average teenager from an upper-middle-class family. Tsutomu is polite without being overly friendly and has a hidden humorous streak that really only comes out around friends, usually unexpectedly. He’s properly devoted to his studies…as long as nobody tells him about the latest model kits for sale.
Angel Name: Foxfire
Gender: Female
Appearance: REFERENCE
Foxfire is somewhat tall for her Type, but still lightweight, with a willowy figure. Her skin is a dark bark-brown, in startling contrast to her hair and eyes, though this when combined with her outfit helps her to blend in to dark places. She wears a blue-black sleeveless and backless dress (for lack of a better term), split into four scarflike panels at the waist. Each panel fades to a pale greenish-blue-white color, ending in a gauzy ruffle. Underneath this is a bodysuit in a similarly dark green-black. She also wears white gloves and ankle boots. The ends of Foxfire’s skirt and the two filament-fine Angel Cords attached to the back of her head produce the bioluminescent glow for which she’s named.
Hair: Wispy, frost-white, pulled into a large bun at the back of her head.
Eyes: Pale aquamarine. They glow slightly.
Bio: Foxfire seems to have been designated the older sister of the local Shinjuku crowd, something she’s not entirely comfortable with but takes in stride with good grace. As the most experienced of them, she’s earned the position. As much of a maverick as her Deus, Foxfire also likes to push her own limits and the boundaries of every rule she comes across. She is, however, somewhat more reserved than Tsutomu is, and will always make a point of reminding ‘younger’ Angels to be sure and obey the laws of Angelic Layer, and to listen to what their Deus tells them….not that she always follows her own advice on the latter. She’s proud of her own skill and rather enjoys showing off to the right audience when in the mood, especially on the Layers.
She’s tolerant of the more childlike Angels, but can be impatient when someone’s slow to catch on or resistant to learning. As a confirmed and unabashed snoop, she doesn’t mind at all being ignored when it suits her, and she has a passion for riddles and limericks. Foxfire can get downright sphinxlike when she wants to be mysterious, though her Mona Lisa smile sometimes looks more like a sharklike grin.
Entry Line: Dispel the darkness! Foxfire, light up the night!
Type: Speed
Speed: 30
Power: 18
Defense: 20
HP: 28
Height: 5
Weight: 2
Signature Move:
Ghost Light: Custom Technique, which must be deactivated before Foxfire can be entered into an official Layer match. When activated, built-up kinetic energy can be used to form up to 3 small orbs of blue-white light, which have the same effect as a slight static-electricity charge. When deactivated the lights have no effect other than to be a distraction. This technique is used mainly on the practice Layers to improve accuracy and response time.
